INZEA BIOPOLYMERS
Compostable plastic packaging is decomposed in a home or industrial composting facility, producing biomass, water and CO2. If well thought through, and used in the right applications, compostable plastic packaging can fit in a circular economy.
Compostable packaging is best suited for specific applications where the packaging is composted together with food waste, thus increasing the composting rate.
Legislation is being developed in different countries to promote the use of compostable packaging.
INZEA are compostable biopolymers obtained from renewable sources, which can replace conventional polymers (PE, PP, PS, …) for either extrusion or injection packaging applications.
INZEA biopolymers are designed to return to nature through different disposal methods, such as industrial (according to EN13432) & home composting, or by biodegradation.
